  • Emotional Observation: A bit distracted as I was still working out my paper trading layout. Felt a bit under prepared. I missed the initial trade. But was still keeping my eye on SPY to trigger into the short level 710.28 previous close. Price action was stating to get squeezy leading up to the trigger, but took it anyway. It pushed thru but didn’t really confirm above. Other then feeling a bit scrambly, felt relatively calm overall
  • High-Beta Observation: Yeah, I think it was more the moments of urgency had more to do with getting my order entries dialed in. I don’t think it lasted too long
  • Best Moment: Probably after I exited the trade & realized that the price action was going in my favor
  • One Thing Noticing: I’ve got to find more time somehow to dedicate more time to this.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Be more prepared

  • Emotional Observation: FOMO because I was focusing on QQQs and missed the initial SPY entry. I took this trade as SPY was retesting the morning session highs and wanted to work it into the trend above which at the time was about $1.50 away.

  • Emotional Observation: I didn’t seem to feel any emotions today while trading.
  • High-Beta Observation: I took a secondary add on QQQs on a pullback that I thought might fail and turn a green trade red, but I’m trying to push myself to do these things regardless of the outcome. I historically wouldn’t have taken the add because I wouldn’t want to be “wrong” but that thinking is holding me back in continuing to grow.
  • Best Moment: Traded into targets and then was out of the trade.
  • One Thing Noticing: I am getting more intentional with entries, adds, and exits… which is making trading start to feel less stressful.

  • Emotional Observation: Had some anxiety entering into trade and once in it. Identified and very quickly got past it and remained very focused on the trade.
  • High-Beta Observation: Entering into and being in the trade because QQQ had a long way to go so could be in for a ride.
  • Best Moment: Taking the trade when I did because it met the checklist criteria even though knew QQQ could go much higher. Also not hesitating on paying because of the technicals not emotion.

  • Emotional Observation: it wasnt the greatest. I was not very relaxed the whole way through, even after I was done trading
  • High-Beta Observation: the highest point was afterwards, even when I was out of the trade and just watching I found myself starting to want to get into another trade. Recognized this was purely for money so had to force myself to sit on my hands and not execute.
  • Best Moment: evaluated risk and premium price and was able to enter perfectly.
  • One Thing Noticing: a poor nights sleep, leading to poor meditation and then trading slightly on edge.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: continue trading as though someone is watching me. I seem to be able to recognize these emotions when I know someone is “sitting there watching”

  • Emotional Observation: Felt calm and focused at the open. Main watch was on SPY. It started to come down to come down to it’s support at the open. I started in long, it was probably a bit early. Added one as it came lower. Might have gotten a little nervous and felt a bit of pressure as it washed pretty quick down to the 20sma at 9:33-9:34a.m. But re-focused pretty quickly.
  • High-Beta Observation: Maybe a little bit at 9:33-9:34am. But re-focused pretty quickly
  • Best Moment: Probably on my first exit when it came back up to pre market lows, it had a little bit of resistance there to get through to prove strength.
  • One Thing Noticing:
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Stay calm, focused, neutral, intentional and stick to the trade plans

  • High-Beta Observation:
  • Best Moment: 1st entry right at my price point, patient on add to correct ave
  • One Thing Noticing: Started to jot down “what’s today like” so on days with a high correlation of Birds etc in Meditation and Trading, I can see what the commonalities are.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Each day I choose to be a Pro. Trader, Calmly from center execute carefully crafted plans with intention and precision in correct response to price action. • Best Moment: Entry into the HB when chart indicated it could not continue to push.
  • One Thing Noticing: I’m having to retrain myself to look at the micro subtleties that the charts are giving. I’m concentrating to much on big moves and not on the small profitable ones that Pat is teaching. Need to pay closer attention to the micro moves of the charts and learn to read them correctly.

  • Emotional Observation: SPY came up to it’s resistance level. Took It short for a reset trade, it kept going up to it’s gap fill and that’s what we turned our attention to, to get a reaction on. Held it up to there, added two on the way up, payed one on a pullback. Then Payed as it retraced back down to pre market highs I wanted to push myself today after my initial long on as because it wasn’t a good trade and from the lessons given in the last mentoring class, Felt pretty calm and focused over all and felt like traded decently on the second and reset trade

  • Emotional Observation: Was pretty calm and focused at the open. Took three trades today. Q’s was the main watch. If we opened above the previous close and pulled back to the level we would go long. It opened up right at that level and was whipping up and down on the first candle. I entered in long, but it wasn’t what we were looking for. Not quit the right setup. Payed on pop. I wanted to push myself per the last mentoring class. Then took Q’s short as it came straight up to it’s resistance level. Added, it squeeze right past the stop out level. So I stopped out but still felt pretty neutral.
  • High-Beta Observation: I don’t think there were any
  • Best Moment:
  • One Thing Noticing:
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Stay calm, focused, neutral, intentional and fallow the trade plans

  • Emotional Observation: Was anxious to recoup a big loss and entered with too much size on the first entry instead of waiting a little longer closer to the level. Made my average not so great.
  • High-Beta Observation: I was afraid this was going to be another loss.
  • Best Moment: I took the trade as a reset even though I didn’t want to.
  • One Thing Noticing: I had a bigger than average loss. Normally that would have bothered me more than it did today. I didn’t like it, but shrugged it off after I was done trading.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Honor written contract terms and execute the trade plans.

  • Emotional Observation: I was taking the trade because I felt good after the first one worked when I didn’t expect it to. There was a pull away from being neutral and I had a bias.
  • High-Beta Observation: When QQQs remounted, I meant to sell some contracts going into the level, but bought instead.
