  • Emotional Observation: was ok following my intentions and I didnt feel too emotional but I made mistakes on my sells and was a bit off. my Muse also showed afterwards that I wasnt very calm at all.
  • High-Beta Observation: on the very first sell. I basically hit the sell button unknowningly. I didnt really want to but I was still overed over the button and pressed. this reminds me of some of the stroop training where I know that I shouldnt press the button but my hands click it anyway while my mind is telling me no
  • Best Moment: still took the proper exectutions and talked myself through it as per my intention. the PnL is what it is and doesnt matter.
  • One Thing Noticing: late nights and external personal factors play a bigger role in my mental state the next morning than I thought. it was nothing major but being tired and just off a bit really shows.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Continue my new process, do not deviate because of a couple small mistakes. continue to talk myself through the trade out loud while recording myself in order to enforce the Observer perspective.

  • Emotional Observation: Had some anxiety once in trade especially since my timing was off & got in about 10 cents higher than wanted/expected. Identified it, quickly got past it and focused on the process. Somewhat noticed my heart rate was increased but it didn’t really bother me and as soon as I got past the anxiety didn’t really even notice it anymore.
  • High-Beta Observation: Once in trade due to my timing being off and entering higher than wanted. Got past it once I identified it with some self-talk.
  • Best Moment: Not freaking out over my timing being off getting a higher price entry than wanted and sticking with the process waiting for natural to sell.
  • One Thing Noticing: Getting easier to get past rather anxiety quickly.

  • Emotional Observation: Felt calm and focused before the market open and coming into the market. Took Q’s long into Thursday’s close 712.60 level. My Broker data seemed a little slow, I’m pretty sure, due to being in a remote location right now. So my entry wasn’t the greatest. But stayed calm & focused. Got a nice reaction above the level, so payed on pop. Felt calm & focused throughout the morning session.
  • High-Beta Observation: I don’t think there were any.
  • Best Moment: I’d say on the exited upon getting the nice reaction.
  • One Thing Noticing: It’s been a bit hard to shake off my last big loss, been feeling a bit discouraged, disappointed in myself & feel like I’ve let Pat & the rest of the team down. But I will do my best to shake it off & keep striving for excellence.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Stay calm, focused, neutral, intentional and fallow the trade plans.

  • Emotional Observation: I set an alert on my chart and pivoted to trade QQQs long.
  • High-Beta Observation: I started in a bit early on purpose to try to push myself. I was still holding a couple of contracts and QQQs broke support by nearly 2pts. I stayed in the trade and kept my average fairly tight assuming I would get a retracement back to test the level again… but it was uncomfortable.
  • Best Moment: I was able to get back and make some money on the retracement back up to test the level. I probably should have taken an add at 12:08, but had just one contract remaining and didn’t want to make my average price worse + needed to get back to my regular job. I also held my last contract into target of the opening price of the trading session.
  • One Thing Noticing: Calmer in trades more so than I have been in the past.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Keep responding to the data on the chart and viewing only as that w/o letting my emotions dictate what I do or don’t do.

  • High-Beta Observation: The whole trading session – like always, no idea why, some days I feel super calm, but Beta waves are consistently high during trading. Trying to really zero in on why Beta wave is so much higher than Alpha during trading only. Interestingly, once work class started (10:00am) Beta dropped – work is very automatic.

  • One Thing Noticing: Trying to figure out why even when I feel calm, beta waves are SUPER HIGH only during trading, not meditation and not brain train.
