  • Emotional Observation: I was fine being patient and waiting… but once the trade triggered, old habbits seemed to instatnly creep in which hasnt happened in quote a while. Fear with being wrong and losing money and then once it started working, I instantly started thinking of PnL. sold quickly and then knew I didnt make much money so Greed took over and I immediately got back in, trying to make more money. Mentally I was all over theh plave
  • High-Beta Observation: As soon as I entered, I was all over the place, in and out twice within 1 minute. thinking of fear, loss and greed with PnL all in the same thoughts.
  • Best Moment: Being patient and letting things set up. I knew Premium was going to be expensive, extending risk so was ok with trading very small
  • One Thing Noticing: being patient and waiting is fine. but the longer I wait t enter a trade, it is almost like the emotions get pent up until I enter, and then they all come rushing to the surface, clouding my judgement and calm thought process once in the trade.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: once the plan is set, just let it work regardless of what happened yesterday and regardless of premium price… I am not following all of my contract points!

  • Emotional Observation: QQQs was trending up coming into a level and the 20 SMA on the daily chart without a significant pullback so I felt comfortable taking the trade.
  • High-Beta Observation: When QQQs initially held support (which was a technical level on the daily chart), I thought perhaps I’ve made a mistake.
  • Best Moment: I didn’t let emotions get the better of me and added when I saw what I wanted to see to help correct my average and then paid myself into targets.
  • One Thing Noticing:
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Just execute the plan.

SPY PUT Trade Entry for June 8, 2026. Trade Result: $134.00

  • Emotional Score: 8 Trade Plan Score: 8
  • Meditation Birds: 64 Trade Birds: 83

  • Emotional Observation: I wasn’t in the mood to fight a trade
  • High-Beta Observation: Once SPY started to hold a level of support, I exited so that I didn’t have to fight this morning and simply booked profit.
  • Best Moment: Entered when I should have and paid myself into support.
  • One Thing Noticing: I realized over the weekend and through journaling that I’ve always thought that if I became successful as a trader, it would prove that I’m as smart or smarter than some of the smartest people on the planet. But that’s not a financial goal. Hell, it’s not even a trading goal… it’s an identity goal. The market isn’t just a market, but in my mind it had become a courtroom where every trade I take would be introduced as evidence of my intelligence, competence, and worthiness. And that’s why trading had always carried so much emotional weight. I wasn’t just trading… I was fighting to defend myself in court. But I’ve realized that the market doesn’t care or know that I exist and my job is to simply execute and not worry about predicting whether the trade is right or wrong. This was a big aha moment for me.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Just execute the plan.
