  • Meditation Recoveries: 13 Trade Recoveries: 24

  • Emotional Observation: Some short periods of a little stress & frustration crept in but I think I handled them & recovered relatively well
  • High-Beta Observation: Today was a bit of a shit show. Two things popped up. So was a bit frustrated. 1st, just before the open, my headband needed an update. Eventho it was fine during & after meditation session. luckily it was ready just in time. Then SPY long triggered, I tried to enter but got the “PDT rule safety feature” popped up. So changed account amount in settings. SPY was still at support. Entered & added. I believe I settled in once things got straightened out.
  • Best Moment: Probably knowing that I can figure things out & solve them for the most part, when presented with unexpected adverse situations
  • One Thing Noticing: Been noticing that it seems like paper trading, in some ways, has been a little more stressful because of the kinks that pop up & need to be worked out
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Stay calm, cool & collected

  • Emotional Score: 4 Trade Plan Score: 7
  • Meditation Birds: 252 Trade Birds: 6
  • Meditation Recoveries: 4 Trade Recoveries: 31

  • Emotional Observation: Very tense in my head and hands today.
  • High-Beta Observation: Bias… I really wanted to be short this morning, but went long into the first support level on QQQs. I was fearful that the stock would just keep falling.
  • Best Moment: I did try to calm and suppress the fear. Used the meditation focus that I do in the morning + box breathing. I did hold to target.
  • One Thing Noticing: I’m noticing that I’m beginning to distinguish when I’m “focused” more than I ever have before compared to when I’m not.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Focus on trying to improve calmness during trading. Sometimes I find it difficult as I’m doing my regular day job and then context switch to trading around 9:25… and I can already be aggravated from something that happened non-trading related.

  • Best Moment: felt calm and didn’t feel any heart increases
  • One Thing Noticing: Today and yesterday my birds have dropped and I am not sure why. Yesterday it felt frazzeled but today I felt pretty focused, I don’t know if it is a wall on the same meditation that I am too familiar with it now which allows my mind to wander or if it is something else. Or perhaps just trading week fatigue. It will be interesting to see if this continues and resets monday or if friday I can improve, of course

  • Emotional Observation: I felt calm for the trade today but I didn’t get very many birds. Also didn’t get many during the meditation session.
  • High-Beta Observation: I didn’t notice anything. Today was straightforward. Just entered into the level and paid on the pushes, just looking for first reactions.
  • Best Moment: Entering and exiting felt calm. The profit targets were close so I didn’t have to wait and talk myself out of holding.
  • One Thing Noticing: The focus today was to enter and pay quickly because it was a weak morning. There wasn’t a lot of meat on the bone for today’s trade but I executed it to plan. Not really a lot to work on as far as patience on exits.

  • Emotional Observation: fomo as i didn’t want to miss the first to trigger.
  • High-Beta Observation: once it started to touch the level, i reacted with a single add. in hind sight this add did not improve my avg. position and added more uncessary risk to the trade.
  • Best Moment: exited the trade
  • One Thing Noticing: my trade selection is bad
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: when pat says trade a certain level with small size, don’t even trade it.

  • Emotional Observation: Lots of birds while trading but didnt feel great. got to bed at a decent time, plenty of water and food yesterday just felt off again (common thing for me in the mornings)
  • High-Beta Observation: like yesterday going long at highs and with higher prem due to earnings I was a tad bit flustered but I reminded myself to trust the process and just take the trade
  • Best Moment: my add again. I have struggled for a while to get adds in.
  • One Thing Noticing: I am letting little account milestones fuck with me
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: surrender to the process my account balance doesn’t matter

  • Emotional Observation: as it started to go red, I added nicely when SPY also hit the level but I kept having the urge to look at PnL. I altered my screens to change the habit and so talked my self throug it and never looked at PnL until i was completely out. Emotions were there but I was able to work on lettig them go by also setting up different physical barriers
  • High-Beta Observation: during my add. I started to overthink the add but just committed to it as I was trying to stick with just 1 contract but knew I needed to correct my average.
  • Best Moment: on my sell, not allowing my self to look at PnL while in the trade.
  • One Thing Noticing: it takes a lot of effort to work through and let go of old mental habits that put me into the fight or flight mode.
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Continue to work on not looking at PnL. focus on letting it go quicker. telling myself I am not in trouble regardless of what is happening, as long a I am following the plan.

  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Continue to watch for the grip, then let it go.

  • Emotional Observation: Felt calm & focused at the open. Then when the Q’s long triggered, I thought I entered, but the order didn’t go through. Hit buy again, still didn’t seem to go thru. Then switched to next day expiry, hit buy. Then in about a minute, realize 5 contracts had gotten filled. So exited the next day expiry position to narrow focus. It held risk. Managed it out to just above break even.
  • High-Beta Observation: Felt a bit confused & distracted at first about not getting filled right away. I feel like I recovered pretty well
  • Best Moment: Felt pretty good that it held risk & that (I think) I didn’t panic & managed it out. I think mostly my training at TT, & experience help make it possible
  • One Thing Noticing: No matter how prepared I think I am before a trade, I’ve got to be ready for anything. There are a lot of variables in this career
  • Tomorrow’s Intention: Be focused, fluid & prepared for anything
